Variomat Giga - Model GH 50 -Hydraulic Module

Implementation of the functions pressure maintenance and automatic water make-up in heating and chilled water circuits.

In addition, degassing of the system water is possible for operating parameters <= 70 °C. This feature requires appropriate pipe connection to the system circuit.

All components are integrated into a self-supporting, plastics coated steel tube construction with base plate in a compact and easy to access way and arranged.

Pressure is maintained via two, duty/ standby, low-noise,smooth acceleration, multistage high-pressure pumps with vibration isolation in conjunction with two parallel spill-lines. These include two y-type strainers and actuated motor ball spill valves.

A separate additional, manual reset, pressure protection safety device is installed to shut the control gigamat down when system pressure falls below minimum pressure.

Make-up occurs via an electrically controlled solenoid valve.

This hydraulic module has to be used combined with a separate GS Control unit (separate article).
