VariPol - Compact Laboratory Polarimeter
VariPol the Compact Laboratory Polarimeter. The VariPol takes the proven SuH technology to a new level combining it with new innovations and all advantages of the VariFamily. The new design has nearly half the size of our earlier models packed with new features and highly integrated hardware. The experience of over more than 150 years in polarimetry is reflected in all components like AWC, the fortified Aluminum core, the built in quality indicator of samples as well as the check of calibration standards. The 100mm sample room is optimal for the needs of pharmaceutical and chemical laboratories.

Wavelength modules can be exchanged to allow a flexible operation.
The VariPol makes polarimetry faster than ever. The new integrated peltier system can change 10°C in 30 seconds to highest precision. After stabilisation of the temperature the measurement itself takes only 6 seconds.
The new tension free design of our sample tubes allows a fast cleaning or exchange of the cover glasses without birefringence. The seamless sample room have no dead space allowing fast rinsing without deposits.
Optimized electronic components result in a low power consumption and together with a modern standby mode it gives you fast reaction time and helps to preserve resources (Green Tec).
With the AWC we offer the automatic calibration of the wavelength. This real physical calibration allows for precise measurements for all your different samples. Together with a gear free polarization detection you have the constant SuH precision over the whole measurement range. A technology which S+H has invented with the first electronic polarimeter generation already.
The rotatable sample tubes and quartzes standards allow you to check quickly and easily their cleanliness and correct performance. The instrument, as well as tubes, quartzes and accessories are all made in Germany to ensure the quality and performance you are expecting from SuH. Please note that due to technical reasons the specifications of the instrument are only guaranteed when original S+H accessories are used.
Thanks to our LED light technology the light source is maintenance free during the instrument’s lifetime, saving you maintenance costs and downtime.
