CK Airtech - Venturi Scrubbers

Polluted gas enters the scrubber through a Venturi throat where it comes in contact with water. The air at the throat, moving at a high velocity intercepts the water droplets, where the dust particles are captured and removed from the gas stream. The polluted water is then separated in a cyclonic separator and removed in a recycle tank. Continuous addition of small amounts of water limits the solid concentration in the recirculation water. We use different Venturi throats, water injection methods and cyclonic separator designs to suit the specified application. Our high velocity, compact separator helps to optimise the cost and space requirements without compromising efficiency.
