Vertical Drilling
Slurries – often also called muds – play a key role in vertical drilling. Their main functions are: removing cuttings from the borehole and bringing them to the surface; tooling lubrication and cooling by reducing friction, thus increasing their average life; maintaining borehole hydrostatic balance to avoid its walls from collapsing. Drilling slurries may be prepared either with bentonite or with different types of chemical products commonly called ‘polymers’. Most importantly, slurries must be harmless to the environment. Our products are successfully employed in water well drilling in all types of soils.

sodium bentonite recommended for drilling in clayely and silty sand

high-yield fast swelling sodium bentonite, designed for a wide range of different drilling and soil conditions
BENTOGEL HP3
extra high-yield fast swelling sodium bentonite, for drilling even in difficult soils
SIPOL S
viscosifier polymer (in powder form) used as a bentonite substitute for drilling fluids
SILIQ LV
liquid polymer recommended to control drilling fluid rheology and reduce fluid loss. Also used to inhibit clay swelling
SICEL SX
cellulosic polymer used as viscosifier in drilling muds
BIOPOL P
quickly biodegradable biopolymer (in powder form) used as a bentonite substitute for drilling fluids
SIPOL SEAL
super absorbent powder polymer. Absorbs up to 200 times its own weight. It is used as a waterproofing agent
SIFOAM L
biodegradable foaming agent used for air drilling
SIFOAM HPX-L
biodegradable foaming agent used for air drilling
