VetamatCentrifugal Systems

SHARE

Ready-for-use centrifugal systems. The patented Vetamat system separates the metal chips from the coolant. Wet chips are fed into the infeed hopper of the conveyor and are automatically fed into the centrifuge from there. The delivery includes the centrifuge with hydraulic unit, chip conveyor with tank, oil tub and control cabinet. The Vetamat system design includes also a chip crusher and a chip cart dumper. Long chips are first filled into the chip cart dumper via chip cart and then tilted into the chip crusher. The crushed chips fall into the hopper of the conveyor and are then transported into the centrifuge. Vetamat systems achieve a throughput of 100 kg/h – 2,000 kg/h.

As soon as the chips, containing coolant, are filled into the hopper the system switches on itself. The chips are automatically dosed in continuous amounts to the centrifuge. The ejected coolant is collected in the tank underneath the chip conveyor. When the tank detects it is full, the coolant is automatically pumped away to the onsite storage tank or in the coolant cleaning system.

The chips fall into the chip container under the centrifuge or into a discharge conveyor. In the centrifuge the coolant will be separated from the chips and/or the grinding sludge. The system switches itself off automatically when there are no more chips added.

The machines comply with the latest accident prevention (UVV), Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies (VDE), Water Management Act (WHG) and EN guidelines.

The complete centrifuge system is pre-assembled, connected and installed on an oil-tight oil tub (WHG-compliant) and equipped with ready-for-use control cabinet (Siemens SPS).
