Waste2Energy - Complete Storage Systems
Our Waste2Energy™ anaerobic digestion is a natural process where microorganisms break down organic material in the absence of oxygen. At an anaerobic digestion facility, this process occurs in airtight tanks. Solid and liquid organic waste material is macerated and blended into a homogenous slurry and dosed into the system. Anaerobic bacteria break down organic waste by feeding on the fats, proteins, sugars, and starches over 20-30 days. The bacteria produce biogas typically composed of 60- 65% methane, 30-40% carbon dioxide and other trace gases.
