EMIL OTTO - Model EO-G-001 (multiflux) -Water-based Flux
EO-G-001 is an advanced water-based soldering flux specifically designed for wave and selective soldering applications. Its eco-friendly formulation is non-flammable and includes di-carboxylic acids, making it VOC-free, resin-free, and halogen-free, ensuring compliance with WEEE and RoHS standards. Despite its water-based nature, EO-G-001 matches the performance of traditional alcohol-based fluxes. Extensive practical usage has demonstrated that PCBs properly soldered with EO-G-001 do not require washing. This flux meets the ISO-9454: 2131 and DIN EN 61190-1-1 (ORL0) standards, ensuring high reliability and efficiency in electronic manufacturing processes. EO-G-001 is a merely water-based soldering flux for wave and selective soldering. It is ecologically harmless and non-flammable. The EO-G-001 with its soldering-related properties is at least just as good as comparable alcohol-based soldering fluxes.
Practice has shown, that no washing is needed for PCBs properly soldered with EO-G-001.
