Level meter for level measurement
The model 101 is ideal for water level measurement at groundwater measuring points. There are 2 versions of this cable plummet. The P7 version with a waterproof stainless steel probe attached to a durable plastic (PVDF) measuring tape. This measuring tape can be supplied in lengths up to 1500m. Alternatively, there is the P2 version, which has a stainless steel probe with the measuring point shifted away from the tip. This makes it more suitable for fluctuating water levels. For the P2 version, a polyethylene measuring tape is available in lengths up to 300m. Furthermore, the tape measure offers a laser marking with millimetre graduation. The groundwater level can be read off the measuring tape, as soon as the probe has made contact with the water surface, a buzzer sounds and an LED on the measuring device lights up.
Long-life stainless steel measuring probe
The probe is made of stainless steel and is waterproof up to 300m. The measuring point is placed near the tip of the probe to minimise water displacement during the measuring process. The P2 probe has its measuring point in the middle to better compensate for fluctuations at the water surface. The connection between the measuring tape and the probe is designed for easy replacement, so that the probe can be changed individually should this become necessary.
