BJ - Model NG -Waterproof Bearings
The NG bearings are waterproof and maintenance-free. They are designed with round corners and a smooth surface to reduce the risk of bacteria growth. They can be cleaned with all types of cleaning products and most chemicals. BJ-Gear offers 5 different types of NG bearings. We offer flange bearings with 2 bolts, 3 bolts, and 4 bolts, and we offer pillow block bearings with 2 bolts and with 2 bolts and thread. The bearings are an excellent supplement to the hygienic BJ-GEAR solutions within gearboxes and actuators to for example the food industry.
NG flange bearings are very compact flange houses with the cover bolted on. The flange housing is made of PUR which is extremely sturdy, it is impact strenghtened and can be mounted in all angles. The flange housing is easy to clean with rounded corners and smooth surfaces.
The flange housing is mounted with a spherical PE lifetime lubricated ball bearing with excentric locking collar, Corrotect treated to prevent setting on the shaft, oil seal ring with a stainless steel spring, ensuring that water can not penetrate the housing - even at direct hosing.
- The flange housing is made with four mounting holes placed identical to other cast iron flange housings on the market.
- Stainless steel grease nipple for optimal food grade grease filling, preventing condensation in the bearing housing.
