WEBER - Model NLC -Wet Sanding System
The WEBER NLC Wet Sanding System is designed to deliver precise surface finishing and deburring through advanced wet sanding technology. Utilizing rubber-coated contact rollers, the system ensures uniform removal of burrs and smooth surface finishes. This is achieved by carefully controlling grinding pressure, which is adjustable to accommodate various workpiece requirements. Ideally suited for rough grinding tasks, the contact rollers efficiently remove thick and melted laser splatter. The flexibility of the system is enhanced by the electric adjustments, allowing real-time positioning modifications. Complementing this feature, the multi-rotation brush 'R2' offers comprehensive edge rounding by employing interlocking brushes for consistent results. Meanwhile, the patented P6 planetary head introduces robust versatility with its overlapping tool system, minimizing wear and maintenance concerns. The machine's feed system promises precision and stability, facilitated by a steel-welded construction and frequency-controlled motor. The wet sanding technique is especially effective for delicate materials, prioritizing both economic and environmental concerns.WEBER NLC

For surface finishing and deburring, we use rubber-coated grinding rollers. The grinding pressure is generated by lowering the roller compared to the set workpiece thickness. Their use ensures uniform removal of burrs, resulting in a smooth surface. The contact roller is particularly effective for rough grinding, as it effortlessly removes thick, melted laser splatter. The contact roller is precisely controlled and usually positioned slightly below the zero line, allowing for flexible adjustment of the grinding pressure and meeting the requirements of various workpieces. To ensure quick and precise positioning, the unit is equipped with electric adjustment and can be accurately positioned and readjusted during operation. The contact roller unit is equally prepared for the use of Scotch-Brite belts. Grinding rollers are available in various diameters and rubber hardnesses and can be adapted to all parts to be ground.
For a uniform and all-round edge rounding on all inner and outer edges, multiple rotating heads are arranged side by side. The interlocking of the brushes, with two brushes per head, ensures consistent processing results across the entire working width. Due to its compact design, the brush head can be easily combined with other WEBER grinding technologies. The arrangement works perfectly for all material thicknesses from one millimeter onwards. To ensure quick and precise positioning, the unit is equipped with electric adjustment and can be activated, deactivated, and accurately positioned and readjusted during operation via program. The multi-rotation brush is ideal for processing coated materials such as laminated sheets or galvanized sheets, where the coating must not be removed or damaged.
