WellBoss - Gas and Flame Detection System

Portable -- It’s a skid mounted, transportable gas and flame detection system can be set up quickly on a oil/gas drilling site. Distribute the permissible sensors around the fence line or on top of the well head. When it is no longer needed, pack it up and move it to another site. Solar energy with high capacity rechargeable batteries backup powers the system -- with or without an AC power connection. Combustible gas sensors respond to all combustible gases… methane, ethane, propane and even hydrogen, as they each contribute to the flammability of the Marcellus NG mixture.
Toxic gas sensors can be added to detect parts per million of carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulfide. Eight sensors can handily used, any mix of sensor type. The embedded computer, solar panel and skid are not classified, so needs to be stationed in an unclassified corner of the property. Sensors and their cables are Intrinsically Safe. Automatic sensor calibration is standard. Off site notification is available. Satellite links can be arranged for very remote locations. There is no need to travel miles of dirt roads just to calibrate the gas sensors, a huge cost savings. A once-a-year visit to change cal-gas tanks is usually all that’s required.
