WENDT - Ferrous Downstream Separation System for Steel Shredded
The ferrous downstream system is designed to separate and recover shredded steel. For the best results, a combination of large axial pole drum magnets and air classification are used. We also offer systems utilizing a series of drum magnets if lesser quality shred is acceptable.
The non-ferrous recovery system utilizes a combination of metering and sizing equipment to effectively prepare Auto Shredder Residue (ASR) for separation. The non-ferrous metals are recovered through a series of Eddy Current Separators and Finders (Electro Magnetic Sorters).
Wendt Downstream Systems include conveyors specifically designed for the scrap processing environment with special emphasis on safety and reliability. Attention to detail in our equipment transitions, integrated structural supports and operator controls make the system easy to operate and maintain.
