WENDT - Model BDD1700 -Single Shaft Rotary Shear/Shredder
The BDD 1700 Shredder’s unique design makes it a leader in the field of rotary shears. The BDD 1700 H has been developed to shred tires and bulky items. The hydraulic drive provides the BDD 1700 H with a high operating torque even at low speeds while protecting it during the introduction of non-crushable materials. The cutting chamber areas are exposed to a high degree of wear and are protected by armored plates made of special alloy steel or by hardfacing. The exceptional torque associated with the unique system of interchangeable screen allows for a size reduction as small as 60mm in one pass. The BDD 1700 was developed for shredding a broad range of industrial and municipal wastes, as well as tires (including large off-road sizes). Its exceptional torque plus screen systems allows reduction in one pass to sizes as small as 2” (50mm).
