Yesterday`s 1-bit metal sensors have evolved from two possible states (metal or no metal) into today`s sophisticated 12-bit sensors that are capable of 4,096 different states. With the rich contextual information available from the sensors, WENDT/TITECH finders have now graduated into the realm of advanced metals sorting. The WENDT/TITECH finder offers rules based sorting. Decisions can be made based on a variety of characteristics such as signal intensity, size, and shape. This allows operators to target and/or suppress items. With multi-layered decisions for each target presented, the WENDT/TITECH finder can shoot on wire while dropping Zurik, creating a high grade wire package with low metal contamination.
