The VideoCheck® S can be equipped with several independent sensor axes (rams). The preload of the guideways in X and Y is generated by magnetic force and gravity. This avoids expansion-related changes in tension and at the same time reduces friction and backlash, resulting in very high long-term stability. Areas of application include tool and machine construction, the automotive, electrical, medical, plastics, rubber and glass industries.
Other benefits
- Due to the low length measurement errors, the machine is ideal for multi-sensor systems
- Roughness and contour measurements can be automated with the patented Werth Fiber Probe® micro-probe or the Werth Contour Probe
- Independent sensor axes enable optimum utilization of the measuring range
- Reduction of the risk of collision between sensors and workpiece
- A second ram can be retrofitted at a later date
- A high degree of flexibility is achieved through the use of rotary/tilt heads, changing racks or even workpiece rotary or rotary/tilt axes
- The graphical user interface of the WinWerth® measurement software ensures efficient and simple operation
