WetSORB/DrySORB - Scrubber Systems

Inorganic pollutants and particulates can be treated using a broad range of absorption technologies also known as “scrubbers”.   Various different scrubber designs are available depending on the application.  For example, venturi, rotation and dynamic scrubbers are used for the abatement of particulates - even at high temperatures and extremely sticky conditions - where fabric filters are not suitable. For the treatment of inorganics such as SOx and NH3, WetSORB™ spray and column scrubber system are the most effective solution.  Depending on the input concentration, the required efficiency  - and local conditions, such as disposal of waste water or supply of reactants – DrySORB™ dry or semi-dry scrubber systems can also be used.
