Machine Sentry - Model MSF-2 -Wireless Intelligent Tri-axial Vibration and Temperature Sensor
The Machine Sentry MSF-2 is a cutting-edge wireless sensor designed to monitor vibration and temperature, catering to the needs of machine condition monitoring. This tri-axial intelligent sensor utilizes both low energy Bluetooth and classic Bluetooth protocols, optimizing battery life and data transfer speed. The sensor can either be permanently mounted or temporarily installed using an optional magnet attachment, making it highly adaptable for various applications. It connects to the Machine Sentry software via a Bluetooth-enabled handheld device, facilitating efficient and safe data collection from up to 25 meters away, or over 100 meters with the X2000 Gateway. Featuring a 3-channel multiplexed data acquisition system, the sensor provides robust 3-axis support. The internal battery, which can last up to five years, supports intelligent data compression, allowing for extensive internal data storage while retaining high-definition raw waveform data for detailed post-processing analysis. Machine Sentry Fixed MSF-2 is a wireless intelligent tri-axial vibration and temperature sensor used for machine condition monitoring.
Connecting via a Bluetooth® enabled hand held device to the Machine Sentry® software, the sensor can either be permanently mounted or temporarily installed to a machine using the optional magnet attachment.
Semi-continuous monitoring reduces the chance of undetected machine faults being missed and leading to complete failure. The Machine Sentry Fixed 2 sensor incorporates a 3 channel multiplexed data acquisition system connected to a tri-axial sensor to give full 3-axis support.
The Machine Sentry® MSF-2 sensor can be permanently mounted to a machine or temporarily installed using the optional magnet attachment. Utilising a unique combination of low energy Bluetooth® and classic Bluetooth® protocols to optimise battery life and increase data transfer speed, it can be paired to any Android tablet or smartphone to provide safe and efficient data collection from up to 25m away or over 100m with an X2000 Gateway.
The integral replaceable battery has a long battery life of up to 5 years and intelligent data compression utilities optimise the amount of data that can be stored internally while the time waveform is stored in a high-definition raw format giving maximum flexibility for post-processing.
