This machine that combines grinding and shredding, is the specialized equipment for processing various biomass feedstock, especially wood pellets that is impossible to be processed by the ordinary grinder. This equipment integrates the process of shredding and grinding and is suitable for cutting 1-20 cm of branches, stems, bamboo, straw, corn stalks, fibrous materials sorghum stem of stems, etc., in the powder less than 3-5mm, which is the right size before pelletizing. It is widely used for machine-made charcoal plant, pellet plant, artificial panel plant, bio-energy plant, paper mill, sawdust plant, mushroom planting industry, l chemical industry, etc.
Logs of wood, wood chip, etc. to be crushed had better be with the diameter less than 200 mm and the moisture content less than 30%. For wood materials with a diameter of less than 50 mm, a shredder is the best choice. In the grinding process, the rotor rotates with the same direction of the cutting blade, producing the airflow at high speed. The materials accelerate and impact with the flow of air at high speed, thus completing the grinding process. After crushed, the output is 3-5mm in diameter for further processing.
