The Wedeco Duron 6 is our original vertically inclined UV system with over 10 year’s of installation & field experience. This flexible, automatically controlled open channel UV disinfection system is specifically developed for wastewater and is ideal for secondary and tertiary effluent.
Sensor-controlled OptiDose automatically adjusts the energy consumption and dims the Ecoray® UV lamps to the minimum number of lamps required to meet dosing requirements, saving energy costs and operational costs.
Outstanding flexibility to upgrade and retrofit with lower capital costsEasy to convert and upgrade your vertical or horizontal UV system with minimal channel adjustment and less construction costs. A range of upgrade choices and flexibility in bank width and channel length allow you to design a UV system that you can easily adapt to accommodate either higher flow rates or new regulations in the future.
Safe and easy maintenanceOptional manual or automatic lifting mechanism allows for safer access to modules without the need for a crane. Individual modules can be lifted while other banks of modules remain in service, ensuring high uptime. All electrical components are housed out of the water in separate cabinets for additional safety.
