ChemCentre maintains a 24-hour emergency response service by having experienced staff and appropriate equipment on standby round-the-clock. Our work typically involves clandestine laboratory investigations for the police and attending chemical incidents such as workplace fires and spills. As a member of the WA Hazardous Materials Emergency Management Plan (WestPlan-HAZMAT) we have defined responsibilities requiring us to provide chemical support to all government departments and authorities following an emergency involving hazardous materials. Recently ChemCentre became a core participant of HEAT (HAZMAT Emergency Advisory Team) and we also have major responsiblities under the WestPlan CBR (WA Chemical, Biological & Radiological Emergency Management Plan).
