ESI is pleased to offer 3D design capabilities to our current and future customers. The use of Bentley AutoPLANT has been implemented throughout the company and will allow the use of the latest AutoCAD technology to produce intelligent, three-dimensional production models under demanding deadline constraints. This software uses component and drawing data to dynamically link pertinent information to an external project database. In addition, Bentley AutoPLANT Structural Modeler is being used to generate accurate 3D steel models in an AutoCAD-based environment. Using the extensive toolset, ESI engineers can model virtually any steel arrangement for any type of construction. To complete the 3D offering, Navisworks Roamer is used to present real-time walkthrough of all 3D models. This program is compatible with all major native 3D design and laser scan file formats, opening them quickly for navigation and review of geometry, object information, .nwd materials and lights.
