Air
We take clean air for granted, and clean air is very important for us to stay in good health. However, the air quality is increasingly under threat from the emission of CO2, particulate matter and all kinds of chemical substances. We help businesses in purifying their process vapours. Not only do we give advice on finding the right solution, we can also realise and manage a wide array of air purification techniques.
Pulsed Cold Plasma: Corona
One of our spearheads is the technique of Pulsed Corona for creating a cold plasma purification of the air. We work on this innovative technique in association with the Eindhoven University of Technology. The technique makes use of high voltage in extremely brief pulses for the formation of a (cold) plasma field. The high-energetic pulses can release very efficient electrons that can in turn clean a broad range of vapours. Click here for more information on this technology.
Advice & design
In all our services, our approach is practical and aimed at solutions. That goes also for any air purification operations. Our focus is not only on installing the purification, but our strength is much more in finding the right solution together with the client. In many cases, we will test the solutions on a pilot scale in actual practice, including the sampling process and interpretation of the results.
Realisation & Management
In our central workshop, the true-size purification plants are prepared by an experienced team of mechanical engineers, process technologists and electrical engineers. The equipment is then installed at the location. Maintaining an air purification plant is usually not the core business of an organisation. We not only assemble the equipment; at the request of the client we can also take over the technical management. In that case, we can guarantee the reliability and we can obtain the right quality of the purified air, often at a fixed price.
Types of installations
We design and build a large range of installations for various applications. We have much experience in the following purification systems:
- Biological air conditioning
- Activated carbon filtration
- Air washing
- Chemical treatment, e.g. using ozone
- Catalytic oxidation, possibly in combination with air washing
- Incinerator
- Pulsed Cold Plasma (Corona)
- Mobile and pilot installations.
Applications
Our installations are suitable for various applications. We build installations for the purification of processed air. We are specialised in temporary air purification plants, for instance when taking over from existing processes during major maintenance. Our installations are used, among other things, in petrochemical or pharmaceutical companies, and comply with all the stringent safety requirements (including the ATEX guidelines).
