A common problem with aerobic treatment is the growth of filamentous bacteria. AQUA Industrial Watertreatment’s Selector, also referred to as a contact tank, prevents this growth by using flocculent bacterial groups. They displace the filamentous bacteria in the absorption of food and thus their growth. Flocculent bacteria are separated from the effluent more easily than filamentous bacteria.
