Chemisch - Electro Reclamatie
In situ remediation of inorganic contaminations in both unsaturated and saturated zones is possible by means of electro reclamation. Verhoeve Environment and Water has the know-how and owns the patents and equipment to design, deploy and complete complex soil remediation. The technique is based on direct current, using anodes and cathodes to mobilize and remove contaminations. The contaminants are collected and discharged through electrolysis and water treatment.
Turbo Test:
We test the possibilities for electro reclamation as a remediation option in our test room using ‘turbo testing’. After performing this ‘batch-test ‘, we design the overall remediation system. Herby we examine the spacing between cathodes and anodes, the amount of current, potential mobilization of heavy metals et cetera.
Application:
The installation consists of two containers. One includes the power unit; the second consists of a sewage treatment plant for purification and separation of the heavy metals. The ground is DC charged through anodes and cathodes.
