Oxidants works by donating an electron and safely degrade/destroy the contaminant. Our ChemOx® solutions provide a clean remediation approach with high oxidant efficencies, rapid destruction capacities, and cost effectiveness.
The ChemOx® approach can be applied at sites with pollutants such as:
- Petroleum Hydrocarbons
- Volatile Organic Compounds
- Phenols
- Solvents & Chlorinated Compounds
- Aliphatics, pesticides, PCB`s
IN-SITU CHEMICAL OXIDATION
In-Situ Chemical Oxidation (ISCO) involves injecting reactive chemical oxidants directly into the soil or groundwater to destroy chemical contaminants in place. We are experts in various injection methods including dedicated injection wells or drive points.
EX-SITU CHEMICAL OXIDATION
Ex-Situ Chemical Oxidation (EXCO®) involves mechanically mixing the chemical oxidant with contaminated soil to destroy the contaminants. This process optimizes soil contact and can be completed "in place" within the excavation or in treatment areas (windrows/land farms).
