Chemical oxidation is an effective, rapid remediation technique to address organic pollutants. We are experts in ChemOx^® applications using various oxidants including hydrogen peroxide, persulfate, and permanganate.

Bench Scale & Treatability Testing: We provide in-house testing to determine the effectiveness of various treatment approaches and then estimate the optimal strategy and dosing that would be required for your site conditions. Through benchscale testing, we can assess if various amendments can further promote remediation success, even at sites that may have "stalled". Testing can be applied for all of our service lines, such as bioremediation, chemical remediation, and, depending on scale, thermal remediation.

Chemical reduction is an effective remediation technique to address organic pollutants. Reductants works by accepting an electron and safely degrade/destroy the contaminant. Our expertise with reductants including zero valent iron (ZVI) allows us to ensure the right reductant is applied for the situation.

Bioremediation involves the application of biological amendments or microbes to remediate soil and groundwater. It is an ecofriendly and often cost efficient remediation technology. The optimization of microbial populations to ensure effective remediation requires the integration of scientific and engineering solutions.

Heavy metals and organic contaminants can pose risks to the environment through migration and leaching from soil into surface water or groundwater. They can also be taken up by plants and vegetation. Stabilization and Sequestration supports the use of risk based remediation by amending soils to capture or bind the contamination in place and prevent exposure. Activated carbon is an adsorption technology for various contaminants and is an effective tool to support the use of risk based remediation or risk management. Organic contamiants such as petroleum hydrocarbons are often targeted with this technology.
