• Negotiating with property owners in good faith for survey access and property rights to reach mutually acceptable agreements.
• Providing our representatives the training to perform their jobs and interacting positively and productively with the community.

• Communicating before, during and after construction projects with the community. We strive to preserve historic, cultural and community resources and participate in one-call programs to promote safe digging practices.

Kinder Morgan is committed to making community engagement a priority. We engage our leadership and deploy resources to help us address community concerns. Our Corporate Communications and Public Affairs department helps develop and implement our community relations strategies to reach a variety of stakeholders. Our Public Affairs and Right-of-Way departments as well as local operations personnel work with communities in an effort to build trust and foster collaboration. During our engagements, any concerns and feedback are considered, and we consult directly with stakeholders in an effort to stay ahead of issues. For our larger projects, we often also create project-specific websites, where communities can find more information if they have questions or concerns.
