According to the CDM regulation 2007 a CDM Co-ordinator must be appointed and the HSE notified for every construction project that will run longer than 30 days, or 500 person days, excluding where the work is in relation to a domestic client. Early appointment of the CDM Co-ordinator is crucial for effective planning and establishing management arrangements from the start.
