Crude Oil Assays for Product Quality

SHARE
SPL is capable of performing both basic and comprehensive crude oil assays for product quality and market evaluation. The true boiling point fractional distillation employing ASTM D2892 at 15 theoretical plates provides weight and volume percent yields of desired refining products in their various boiling ranges up to 400 °C. Combined with ASTM D5236M, fraction temperatures can reach up to 565 °C. These individual fractions can then be analyzed by unique test batteries used by refiners to determine actual market values of the various products.
