Accurate and timely analyses of natural gas and hydrocarbon liquids is important to the petroleum and petrochemical industries.  SPL’s goal is to help you optimize your oil and gas production, forecast well depletions more accurately, and enable you to make better-informed decisions on all aspects of your petroleum production and investment.  Our petroleum lab can provide you with the compositional make-up to determine the accurate market value of the product and how the product should be refined and processed.

SPL provides post analysis calculation and modeling for gas and liquid hydrocarbon systems.  This service is needed for system design, reservoir engineering, production accounting, allocation, and regulatory compliance.  For reservoir and surface equipment applications, we use multiple simulators that employ various EOS equations, including Peng-Robinson and Soave-Redlich-Kwong.

SPL offers a host of gas measurement services and our highly trained professionals are committed to delivering outstanding service and support on every project.

SPL provides well testing services to support allocations in accordance with API Chapter 20.1 guidelines.  In addition to full scale GPM tests, sampling, open flow potentials, and gas-oil ratios, we also provide laboratory services, gas and liquid analysis, calculations of recombinations, and can provide G1, G5, G10 and other reports required by regulatory agencies.

SPL measures a wide variety of liquid products including crude oil, refined petroleum, LPG, and hazardous materials. Through our use of API, NBS, and industry-approved calibration equipment and procedures, we are able to ensure accuracy in measurement and assure your peace of mind.

Monitoring the measurement balance of your system is critical and when balance problems arise, our allocation team is your partner in identifying and resolving the problems.
