Demolition can transform unused, underutilized, and out-of-code properties into higher-value, vacant land ready for sale or redevelopment by reducing or eliminating: maintenance costs, security costs, and property tax liability; potential liability for trespass resulting in injury, criminal activity, vermin infestation, biological and chemical exposure risks, and neighborhood nuisance; barriers to soil and groundwater remediation, and; vapor intrusion exposure and liability.
Wilcox’s demolition services staff includes licensed asbestos inspectors, licensed lead inspectors, licensed Professional Engineers, a former IOSHA inspector, and personnel with 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER, 10-hour and 30-hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health training. Our staff works with both local governments and private-sector clients.
