Drum Collection Services

As part of our service to our own label customers, we can collect empty drums from the vast majority of regular delivery points. It is important to note that our waste transfer licence only covers empty drums which have originated from B & V Chemicals manufacturing facility. Empty drums must contain less than 1% of the original chemical contents, do not need to be rinsed but must have the original label on the drum. Palletised drums can be collected within a shorter time scale than loose drums, so palletising empty drums for collection is preferable wherever possible. We also collect and re-use empty 200 Litre drums and IBC’s for reuse wherever possible. As part of our BS EN 14001 commitment all drums which cannot be reused are sent for recycling in order to minimise the impact of plastic waste on the environment.
