DWA Library Services
The DWA library is unique in its field. As a specialised library with an individual range of services, it offers an extensive pool of knowledge for specialised staff, executive personnel and junior staff in water management. Since 1985 the DWA library has been collecting specialist books and articles on all relevant water management related topics, furthermore, it contains over 3,000 older publications.
The DWA library provides bibliographic references to the following topics:
- Water management
- Wastewater engineering
- Hydraulic engineering
- Water protection
- Hydrology
- Wastes and soil
Visitors can use the reference library free of charge.
The catalogue of our library, the DWA literature database, contains approx. 60.000 references and is available to DWA members in the member`s area of the DWA homepage.
The bibliographic data of
- books
- scientific series
- so-called "grey literature" such as conference reports or publications by associations and authorities
- journal articles and
- online-ressources
can be researched in the literature database.
The individual catalogue entries contain information on authorship and title. Keywords, summaries and, in the case of many newer entries of freely accessible online resources, a link to the full text available at the time of entry.
