Dynaflow can provide consulting services, sample analysis, treatability and feasibility studies, and pilot plant studies. Areas of expertise are:

  • Oxidation – Reduction chemistry.
  • Advanced Oxidation Processes (i.e. cavitation, UV/Ozone, UV/Hydrogen Peroxide, and Ozone/Hydrogen Peroxide).
  • Zero-valent metals reduction.
  • Identification and analysis of Pharmaceuticals and Personal Care Products in water and wastewater.
  • Trace Organic analysis in water and wastewater.

Commercial analytical labs often cannot perform non-standard or unusual analyses. If there is no EPA or ASTM method for your sample, it is often difficult to find analytical support. Dynaflow is an applied sciences research and development company and R&D is our core business. We can develop analytical methods for non-standard analytes, including gas chromatography (GC) and mass spectroscopy (MS) method development and validation.

Dynaflow has in-house analytical chemistry, microbiology, and filtration fabrication laboratories, and pilot plant facilities. We can perform treatability studies for oxidation and disinfection of water and other materials. Our pilot plant capabilities range from a few liters to several thousand gallons.

Dynaflow has expertise in identification and quantifying polar pharmaceuticals and personal-care-products (PPCP) in water and wastewater, including raw sewage influent. The DYNAFLOW laboratory is equipped with a Perkin Elmer Clarus 500 gas chromatograph with mass detector (GC/MS). The Clarus 500 is capable of collecting Total Ion Count (TIC) and Selected Ion Monitoring (SIR) simultaneously, which greatly enhances its utility for identifying unknown compounds and achieving low detection limits.

DynaJets cavitating jet nozzles provide oxidation of water without requiring the addition of any chemical oxidants. Both oxidation and disinfection can be achieved at relatively low pump pressures (20-150 psi). DYNAJETS require minimal retrofitting and maintenance, and no special operator training. Dynaflow can provide treatability studies for oxidation or disinfection using our in-house chemical and microbiological laboratories.

Filtration and Chemical Analysis Laboratory. Dynaflow has chemical and microbiology laboratories on-site. Analytical chemistry capabilities include trace organic analysis of water and air using gas chromatography (GC/FID and GC/PID) and mass spectroscopy (GC/MS with EI/CI). Several water quality analyses are also available including, pH, Total Organic Carbon (TOC), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Total Phosphorus, Ammonia, Nitrate and Nitrite, Iron, Cyanide (Total and Amenable), Total Solids (TS), Total Suspended Solids (TSS), and Volatile Suspended Solids (VSS).
