Environmental Science Translation Services
It is a requirement under the current CHIP and CLP Regulations that safety data sheets and product labels must be provided in the official language of the target users and countries. Custom technical translation required for Safety Data Sheets can be enormously time consuming and expensive. To assist you, ESL offers a lower cost technical translation Bureau service, that includes Safety Data Sheets, WASP Sheets, product labels and any other technical information relating to the Health, Safety and Environmental fields. The expertise of translations at Environmental Science has been developed through a wide range of assignments to provide translation and interpretation to the engineering, research, HSE, waste, construction industries worldwide. Fully qualified, professional translators complete all our work.
An advantage of having translation done by ESL as opposed to using a translation agency is that each translator has been trained specifically to understand and interpret regulations governing Safety Data Sheets for example, REACH, CHIP, CLP, COSHH, GHS. Each translator carries out research and obtains data specifically for the target country, for example local regulations, exposure limits, waste handling and transport requirements.
We have dedicated project managers who are responsible for looking after individual clients, to ensure consistency and continuity of service. The project manager responsible for the work will select suitable translators, who offer both the relevant language skills and qualifications and an expert knowledge of the subject area involved. When possible, we try to use the same translators for all work for one particular client, so that linguistic continuity and consistency are assured.
All translation work handled by ESL team is treated confidentially both by our staff and our translators/linguists, but for extra peace of mind, it is our standard practice to sign non-disclosure or confidentiality agreements which relate specifically to the current work.
