Barr works with clients such as FEMA, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, cities, counties, and watershed districts to analyze and implement flood prevention measures. Combining technical expertise with decades of regulatory experience, our engineers and scientists analyze the complex factors that drive flooding in an area, implement proactive measures to prevent flood damage, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Led by seven certified floodplain managers, Barr’s interdisciplinary team specializes in flood insurance studies, mapping services, floodplain analysis and delineation, modeling, levee certification, and feasibility studies.
