TUBOGEL - Flooding Process
The TUBOGEL flooding process is a two-component –sealing system, which Geochemie Sanierungssysteme GmbH successfully uses since several years for sewer rehabilitation without digging. This method guarantees reliable and long-lasting sealing of pipe systems even if they are inaccessible or deeply angled, and expensive civil engineering processes are not necessary.
The most important facts about the flooding process
The rehabilitation system TUBOGEL is a liquid on a silicate base and contains two components:
TUBOGEL T1 - injector for the filling of damaged mineral parts of the sewer area
TUBOGEL T2 - hardening agent
Using this process the pipework has to be cleaned first. Then the pipe system is flooded with TUBOGEL® T1. At the damaged parts T1 seeps out and sates the soil in the area. In step two the pipework is filled with TUBOGEL® T2, hardens with the remaining T1 at the damaged leak and safely seals the leak.
