GD Testing Services
Unicon is equipped to carryout GD testing of any make ESPs with more than 35 years experience in the field.
Why GD Testing
- Improve the performance of ESP
- Meet the emission legislation by increasing equipment collection efficiency.
- Drive down the operational cost with improved quality.
- Cost Effectiveness.
- Separate shutdown is not required for implementation.
- Reduce the shutdown time.
To ensure optimal air flow in ESP chambers, we follow a precise process. We run ID, FD, and PA air fans at suitable loadings and record fan loadings and furnace draught for consistency. Velocity measurements are taken using a vane type anemometer.
Measure velocities between the first and second field. Mark points on the trailing edge of the first field’s collecting electrodes, spaced 1000mm apart with a 500mm gap from the top and bottom, and take readings at every alternate electrode spacing.
Conduct multiple trials to achieve acceptable gas distribution, making adjustments to deflector/throttling plates based on test results. Repeat the process until the desired distribution is achieved.
Ensure the coefficient of variation for gas distribution is less than 20%.
This methodical approach guarantees efficient gas distribution and enhances the ESP chamber`s performance.
