Geo-Environmental Services
The Geo-Environmental Services Group routinely performs Environmental Assessments for property transfers and intrusive investigations on potentially contaminated property. Investigative methods such as soil vapor sampling, Geoprobe sampling of subsurface soils and the installation of piezometers are routinely used.
In addition, the Geo Group performs environmental compliance surveys for school districts and industries. The compliance surveys evaluate a variety of environmental issues including underground storage tanks, drinking water quality, the Worker Right to Know Act, chemical inventory and medical hazardous waste tracking.
The Geo Group also prepares commercial and technical specifications for the remediation of environmentally contaminated sites. The Geo Group consults with owners and developers on Brownfield sites and Voluntary Cleanup Programs (VCP) and guides the site owner through the clean-up process to ensure compliance with the clean-up regulations.
