The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), produces one of the world`s most adopted standards for sustainability reporting, the Sustainability Reporting Guidelines. The Guidelines have been created through a multi-stakeholder, consensus- seeking approach that enables them to be broadly applicable: to small companies, large multinationals, public sector, NGOs and other types of organizations from all around the world. Sustainability reporting is a form of value reporting where an organization publicly communicates their economic, environmental, and social performance. GRI seeks to make sustainability reporting by all organizations as routine and comparable as financial reporting. Furthermore, the Application Levels meet the needs of reporting organizations in terms of objectively displaying their use of the GRI Guidelines.

The assessment is based on the GRI’s G3 Guidelines (the third generation of GRI`s Sustainability Reporting Guidelines). The assessment covers the management approaches of your company as well as the six key areas (Economic Performance, Environmental Performance, Labour Practices, Human Rights, Social Performance and Product Responsibility) of the guidelines.
