Groundwater Control For Engineering Works

When it is required water table depletions over than 5 meters, mainly in excavations in which there is some kind of diaphragm (sheet piling, screens, plastic walls ..), in soils of low to moderate permeability, it is required in-depth catchments wells. The condition of low to moderate hydraulic conductivity require a greater number of wells, distributing into many low rate flow or pumping units, thus allowing the use of low power pumping equipment, optimizing costs, mainly those related to energy.
