Solexperts - Groundwater Monitoring Service
What are the flow paths of groundwater contamination? What are the hydrogeological parameters of contaminated sites and landfill sites? To determine these values, we use state-of-the-art testing and monitoring systems. This technology is now also being used in hydrogeological investigations of geothermal energy projects and in the search for suitable storage rock for the storage of CO2.
Our groundwater monitoring systems can be equipped with fibre optic sensor cables to measure distributed temperature and strain and pore water pressure. Example Geothermal ISC experiment in the Grimsel rock laboratory of the ETH (see pictures and video above).
With our membrane samplers combined with a circulation system and gas analysers at the surface, concentrations of dissolved gases can be measured in defined borehole sections. Besides various applications in rock laboratory experiments, this technology is currently successfully applied in CBM exploration wells in Lorraine (Regalor).
