Groundwater & Soil Gas Monitoring
Our environmental team has a vast experience of working on groundwater projects of varying complexity. IKM have six qualified and experienced geologists on their staff. All field staff are trained in state-of-the-art water sampling using in-line flow cells and a variety of field equipment including interface probes.
IKM carry out air quality monitoring for hydrocarbons on a daily basis. Trained and experienced environmental scientists operate the state of the art equipment, which is sufficiently sensitive to detect TVOCs, and BTEX components, to a level sufficient to comply with occupational exposure limits. The company owns and operates three Photovac Voyager field gas chromatographs with ultra-low detection limits for specific VOCs as well as Photo Ionisation Detectors, personnel monitors and various brands of Draeger type analyser tubes.
IKM also have capabilities to monitor soil gases such as carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, methane, hydrogen sulphide and other gases associated with refineries such as cumene and hexane.
