Hazardous Materials Assessments Services
Hazardous Materials Assessments are required by regulation in all Canadian provinces and territories. There are three levels of assessment that clients require. Properly performed hazardous materials assessments are a key building block in diligent control of regulated hazardous materials.
There are three levels of hazardous material assessment reports.
Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment - hazardous materials are noted as potentially being present based on visual observations and building age. These reports are not normally comprehensive enough for worker protection regulatory compliance.
Hazardous Material Assessments - are prepared to protect the building occupants for non intrusive building or site occupancy. This report does not contemplate disturbance through renovation activity.
Pre-demolition Hazardous Material Assessments - these reports inventory hazardous materials on a discrete basis so that managers planning renovation or demolition activities can indentify the areas requiring pre-demolition using worker protection techniques.
