Hazardous Materials Testing Services
The presence of hazardous materials can create immediate and long term health and safety concerns for workers and community members. Understanding what materials may be present is essential for handling hazardous materials in accordance with regulations and recognized health and safety procedures.
To evaluate known or suspected hazardous materials for various parameters, VOETS conducts sampling, analysis, and evaluations to ascertain the type and/or composition of the material. To determine the presence and evaluate the strength and/or orientation of energy-related sources, VOETS can conduct energy sampling, analysis, and evaluation of sources such as: magnetic fields, UV/IR/visible light, electric fields, microwaves, radio waves, alpha, beta, gamma, and x-rays. Air, water, and soil testing can include detection, identification, and quantification of any specified parameters such as: particulates, fibers, gases, vapors, aerosols, mists, dusts, fumes, chemicals, toxins, allergens, irritants, chemicals, infectious agents, flow, temperature, humidity, concentration gradient, turbidity, pH, and more.
