A RCRA or Superfund (CERCLA) site designation can trigger a maze of regulatory requirements. The approach of Mid-Atlantic"s professional staff of licensed geologists, hydrogeologists, and engineers to hazardous waste services incorporates excellent working relations with the regulators as well as an intimate knowledge of the regulatory process. Combining this regulatory knowledge with a strong core of hydrogeologic, engineering, and technical business management expertise allows us to provide our clients with technically accurate and cost effective hazardous waste solutions that assure regulatory compliance. As a result of our regulatory and technical strengths, the North Carolina Superfund Section has approved Mid-Atlantic as a Registered Environmental Consultant (REC). The REC designation allows Mid-Atlantic"s Registered Site Managers (RSMs) to perform the state"s oversight role at voluntary cleanup sites.
