Humidification Service
From Ventilation Service
In addition to maintaining the proper level and pressure of fresh air, ventilation systems must insure that indoor air humidity balanced for occupancy and building use. Humidification and Dehumidification systems achieve this balance.

How it works
How it works
- Humidification - Indoor air humidity is generally ignored, but research has shown that low humidity may cause lower productivity by aggravating allergies and causing respiratory issues. Low humidity may also degrade the quality and uniformity of output from certain manufacturing processes. Adding moisture to dry air where it is needed can minimize respiratory problems, chemical reactions and the production of ozone (from processes like welding), and maximize the output quality of products that are sensitive to varying humidity levels.
- Controlled Humidification, either through a central piping system or individual space humidifiers can maintain humidity conditions throughout a facility or in select locations within a facility. Choosing the right equipment and designing an appropriate distribution controls the costs, and ensures that undesirable micro-organisms cannot proliferate.
- Dehumidification - Alternatively a building may have too much humidity due to incoming air exceeding exhausted air, large occupancy use and poor air distribution; or indoor activities that create excess humidity (ex. Agriculture, pools). This can lead to uncomfortable building conditions and unpleasant odors, the proliferation of micro-organisms, as well as degradation to the buildings envelope during winter.
- Controlled Dehumidification ensures that excess humidity is properly exhausted through a condenser without exhausting the indoor air thereby eliminating the excess moisture with no wasted heating or cooling.
Benefits
- Humidity levels can be precisely controlled for specific zones or processes, or changing building use (ex. during a production shift)
- Improved employee comfort and productivity
- Systems are self-cleaning, maintenance free, and use very little energy
