Impact Litigation Service
For twenty five years The Firm has participated, and continues to participate, in impact litigation (meaning lawsuits that are designed to achieve a significant result for a broad class of people rather than focus on an individual wrong.).
For instance, The Firm has represented workers in challenges against the State of California and various government agencies regarding enforcement or implementation of particular regulations or laws. The Firm typically undertakes this kind of impact litigation in association with labor unions.
A number of appellate rulings obtained by The Firm have had a wide impact, including Johns-Manville Products Corp. v.
