A poorly maintained or operated building can result in occupants complaining about IAQ-related problems. Sigma performs visual walkthrough inspections of area cleanliness and building condition to determine potential sources of airborne pollutants and identify possible corrective actions.
Renovation And Demolition
Construction, renovation and demolition projects present a variety of situations that may release contaminants that can impact the IAQ of a facility. These contaminants may be transported to other areas via heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and subsequently affect occupants beyond the immediate project area. Sigma provides air quality monitoring of airborne biological and particulate matter, asbestos fiber, temperature, and relative humidity prior to, during, and following such activities. Services include participation in the infection control risk assessment (ICRA) process, providing dust management control recommendations, and evaluating dust containment barrier construction and effectiveness.
Biological Assessments
Sigma minimizes liability risks by using state of the art inspection and assessment techniques for moisture and mold-related problems.
