In function of the needs, Certech  operates in the following fields:

• Analysis of risks :
• This first step requires the analysis of work processes, the detection, inventory and prioritisation of pollutants according to their hazard.
• Samplings and analysis :
• In some cases, specific samplings and analyses have to be performed to validate the suspicion of a risk. Measurements campains are realised after determination of homogeneous exposure group (HEP) and design of a sampling plan.
• Air quality is assessed with regard to existing limit values and according to international standards or approved methods. Different analytical methods have been developped, for instance for evaluating the efficiency of different IPE like cartridge for respiratory protections or for the characterisation of explosive atmosphere.
• Assessment of workplace exposure levels :
• Analysis and interpretations of the results is performed with use of specific tools. The validation as well as the representativeness of samplings are realised in order to evaluate the frequency of measurements needed, allowing to follow a dynamic risk assessment approach.
• Various toxicological analyses can also be performed in collaboration with different experts.
